CEG partnered with Gratte Brothers and RCM Products to supply a bespoke computer floor grille solution for a series of Equinix data centre developments.

Data centres require highly controlled airflow management to ensure critical equipment operates within strict temperature parameters. The project called for specialist floor grilles capable of delivering reliable airflow performance while meeting the demanding operational requirements of a mission critical environment.

Working closely with the project team, CEG provided technical support throughout the development process to help deliver a solution tailored to the specific needs of the facility.

Temperature control is one of the most critical aspects of data centre design and operation.

The floor grille system needed to provide consistent and efficient air distribution throughout the server environments while integrating with the raised access floor system.

The project also required a bespoke approach to ensure the grilles met the airflow, durability and operational requirements expected within a modern data centre facility.

CEG worked closely with Gratte Brothers, Equinix and RCM Products to develop a bespoke computer floor grille solution designed specifically for the project requirements.

Through collaboration with all stakeholders, we reviewed airflow requirements, floor layouts and performance expectations to ensure the selected solution would support the facility’s cooling strategy.

RCM Products manufactured a series of high quality bespoke computer floor grilles engineered for use within raised floor data centre environments. The solution provided the durability, airflow performance and finish quality required for a critical infrastructure project of this scale.

Throughout the project, CEG acted as the link between client, contractor and manufacturer, helping coordinate technical discussions and ensuring project requirements were met.

The bespoke floor grille solution was successfully delivered and installed as part of the Equinix data centre programme.

By working collaboratively with the client team and manufacturer from an early stage, CEG helped develop a solution that met the stringent airflow and temperature control requirements of the facility.
