M&S Weymouth Case Study

CEG supplied a specialist air distribution solution for the Marks & Spencer store in Weymouth, working alongside Woodward & Co. to provide high quality duct mounted diffusers manufactured by Solid Air.

The project required a solution that would integrate directly into exposed spiral ductwork while providing effective and adjustable air distribution throughout the retail environment.

The selected WUCK duct diffusers offered both performance and visual appeal, making them ideally suited to modern retail applications where exposed services form part of the architectural design.

The project required a diffuser solution capable of delivering conditioned air effectively within a retail environment while integrating neatly with visible spiral duct systems.

Air distribution needed to remain flexible to accommodate varying store layouts and occupancy patterns whilst maintaining customer comfort throughout the sales floor.

The installation also demanded a clean and professional appearance in keeping with the high standards expected within a Marks & Spencer retail environment.

Working closely with Woodward & Co., CEG supplied Solid Air WUCK Duct Diffusers specifically designed for installation directly into circular ductwork. The units feature adjustable horizontal and vertical vanes, allowing airflow patterns to be fine tuned during commissioning and operation.

The WUCK diffuser system was selected because it integrates directly into exposed spiral ductwork, provides adjustable horizontal and vertical air distribution, is suitable for both heating and cooling applications, can accommodate significant temperature differentials and delivers high free area performance.

The project was successfully completed with the WUCK duct diffuser system providing effective air distribution throughout the retail space.
